Version 1.8.0
Latest 25 Oct 202610 fixed4 security
Fixed
- Deleting a file no longer deletes other images' WebP/AVIF files.
- Image optimization keeps originals: AVIF is saved alongside, PNGs no longer grow, and re-optimizing keeps the backup.
- Media modal and sidebar: no duplicate folders, correct counts, and Escape no longer deletes an existing "New Folder".
- Smart Organize shows folder names and counts each file once.
- Attachment details keep the saved alt text, and Replace/Edit stay after Optimize or Restore.
- "Clear filters" clears the search box too.
- Claude AI works again, and Gemini no longer returns empty text.
- Document Library: correct Word/Excel/PowerPoint filters, subfolder search, and "Load more" for large folders.
- Cloud: deleting media also removes its thumbnails from storage.
- Settings: Save buttons can't be double-clicked, and the background scan toggle stays off after saving.
Security
- Document Library: protected files no longer expose their direct URL, and folder passwords now cover subfolders.
- Visitors can no longer bypass a library's allowed file types.
- SVGs uploaded through the REST API are sanitized; folder names show as plain text in notifications.
- Only administrators can run or dismiss folder imports.
Key features
- Virtual Folder System: Create unlimited hierarchical folders to organise media in your WordPress library.
- Drag and Drop: Move files and folders using an intuitive drag-and-drop interface.
- Non-Destructive Organisation: Keep the original WordPress file structure unchanged while organising media virtually.
- Bulk Operations: Select multiple files and move them together.
- Search and Filter: Find media quickly with built-in search functionality.
- Folder Colours: Customise folder colours with 18 preset options.
- Resizable Sidebar: Adjust the folder panel width between 200-400px.
- File Counters: See item counts for each folder at a glance.
- Context Menus: Right-click folders to access quick actions.
- Upload to Folder: Upload files directly to specific folders.
- All Media Types: Organise images, videos, audio, PDFs, EPUB ebooks, and documents.
