  • The base64 helpers call the encode and decode functions directly instead of assembling their names at run time

  • The licence and update client retried with TLS certificate verification turned off whenever the first attempt failed. A failed request now fails outright instead of falling back to an unverified connection
  • Rollback backups written to the uploads folder were protected only by a directive that Apache 2.4, nginx and LiteSpeed ignore, and their filenames were predictable. Existing backups are renamed and re-protected automatically on the next admin page load
  • The rollback handler read its version parameter without first checking that it was present

  • Removed the unused uglify build dependency, clearing every critical advisory reported against the development toolchain
